TECHNIQUE
All prints, both on canvas or on Hahnemühle handmade paper and Baryt-paper up to 152 cm of width, are digital Ultrachrome pigment-prints. Light- and aging proof pigment inks of the latest generation by Epson are used and printed in high resolution between 1440 and 2880 dpi.
The prints on canvas are treated with Lascaux acryllic protection varnish with UV-inhibitors.
The used papers are acid free and alkaline-buffered, and therefore ageing proof.
However the surface remains unprotected and is therefore delicate with damages/fingerprints, etc.
A professional framing behind glass is strongly recommended. The beautiful character of their surface is best displayed, when interference-optical, non-reflecting museum-glasses (e.g. Mirogard by Schott, or ARTcontrol of Flabeg) are used. These glasses have such a high grade of transmission, that they are hardly perceived at viewing.
